Wow! SFSD is so grateful to the Sioux Falls STORM, LEVO, and media partners KELOLand TV for supporting Operation Hope & Caring where $18,417 was raised to support elementary schools that don't have PTAs/PTOs. We had a great time at the game and especially enjoyed the WIN! ❤️

The Weather Service indicates the greatest threat of severe weather did not materialize in Sioux Falls. We will begin our bus routes at approximately 3pm, so there will be a slight delay in getting elementary and middle school students home. High School dismisses at normal time.
Due to the weather 4-30-24, SFSD will hold all elementary students who walk or ride the bus until the system passes. We expect the system to arrive about 2:45pm and be done around 3pm. Busses will not leave the elementary schools until it is safe to do so. This will also cause a delay in middle school bus routes, so plan accordingly. If wx is still an issue at high school dismissal time, we will encourage students to wait to leave until the system passes. Thank you.

WHS Student Council is sponsoring dress-up days for Warrior Olympics and Honorfest starting Wednesday, April 24th.
Our WHS team, Money Magicians, placed 3rd in the South Dakota 2024 Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge on April 17th! Congratulations to Sawyer Johnson, Mohamed Muse and Kirubel Tsemay.
There will be a National Honor Society meeting at 7:40 AM on Tuesday, April 16th in the Little Theatre for all NHS members.
There is a correction to the Grand March start time that was listed in the WHS April newsletter. The Grand March will begin at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 20th at the WHS Auditorium.
WHS Senior Prom is scheduled for Saturday, April 20th from 8-11 PM at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Non-WHS Guest forms are due on Friday, April 12! Forms can be found in student services.

WHS Students - the deadline to order your 2024 yearbook is approaching. Please order online at jostens.com and follow the yearbook menu to search for our school. The cost is $65.
WHS will be providing an opportunity for sophomores to take the PreACT on Thursday, April 4th. If you are interested in taking the test, sign up in counseling office by April 3rd. The cost is $20
During the week of March 25-28, Best Buddies will host an Inclusion Week to spread the word about inclusion and celebrate the amazing diversity that is at WHS. We will be hosting these dress-up days: Monday - Warrior Wear Day; Tuesday - PJ Day; Wednesday - Jersey Day; Thursday - Disability Color Day.
Audition forms are now available for the WHS spring production of short plays. Please stop by Mr. Reiner's room, A139, to obtain one. Auditions will be held on the Little Theatre after school on Tuesday, March 26th.
